The Central Coast is within riding distance of some of the best roads for motorcycles. From Gosford and Wyong Shires, you can head down the old Pacific Highway which winds its way through some of the most rugged terrain down to the northern suburbs of Sydney. Along the way, you can stop in at the Pie In The Sky cafe just south of the Hawkesbury River which is frequented by motorcyclists from near and far. If you go west, you can pass through the Central Coast hinterlands of Mangrove Mountain and then ride north up to Wollombi and the Hunter Valley, or south via Spencer and Wisemans Ferry to the west of Sydney. Northwards, we have the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area, including the Watagan Mountains, the Lower Hunter and Port Stephens.
